Netgear is showcasing 18 innovative new products at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Here is a few that got my attention:

NETGEAR NeoTV550 HD: This unit can wirelessly project your laptop screen and sound to a TV in full HD 1080p resolution. Using Intel’s Wireless Display technology, this lets you get the full browser experience (watching Web videos) on your HD goodness TV. ($120).

NETGEAR N600 Wireless Dual-band Gigabit Router (WNDR3800): The “Premium Edition” is aimed at home networks looking to do HD video streaming and gaming. New features include a dynamic channel selector to avoid 2.4GHz interference, the ability to connect an external hard drive or USB printer for wireless sharing (and remote access), and a broadband usage meter for tracking data downloaded. ($180).

NETGEAR Internet Adapter for Home Theater – Powerline AV (XAVB5004): This is the first 4-port 500Mbps powerline adapter kit and is the fastest powerline solution on the market today. The XAVB5004 delivers HD video streaming and is capable of connecting up to four Internet-ready home theater devices, such as HDTVs, Blu-ray players, IPTVs, TV set-top boxes, media players or game consoles to the Internet. ($130)

N300 Wireless Router with Built-In Powerline AV (WNXR2000): A wireless router with the Powerline AV built-in, how cool is that? Five (5) 10/100 Ethernet ports and 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz doesn’t make it the fastest router out there, but should work for most home networks.

NETGEAR N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (WNDR4000): This router operates at speeds up to 450 Mbps on 5GHz channels, so it can support applications like HD video conferencing.  USB storage access (supporting FAT16/32, NTFS Read/Write), multiple SSID guest networks (separate security and access restrictions) and live parental controls with customizable filter settings. Stay tuned for the reviews on this bad boy. ($180)
