Lenovo’s New ThinkPads for 2012

Lenovo announced the new line up of their ThinkPad notebooks that will be release throughout the first half of 2012. The Supersite for Windows (Paul Thurrott) has descriptions and pictures of Lenovo goodness that is about to descend upon us.

Yes, I have my eye on one of these beauties! Time for another ThinkPad!

A 15-inch design with the latest Intel (430) or AMD (435) chipsets, integrated or dedicated graphics and HD or HD+ resolution, up to 8 GB of RAM, 320 GB to 1 TB hard drive with optional DiskBoost or 128 GB SSD, integrated DVD R/W, and 3 USB 3.0 ports plus 1 USB 2.0 port that’s always on for powering devices. Weight is 5.4 pounds.

The Edge 530/5 is available with a red or black lid, or in an all aluminum finish. Nice! Pretty!

Price: $549 (my ThinkPad will have expensive bells & whistles)
Available: April

Thanks! I’m good. Found a slew of them whilst cleaning out a work bag.

I was never a fan of the newer flat mouse buttons. I really liked the older eraser head type. I have some extra if you are in the same boat as me.
